Paris en Rêve: Tea Time Concerts at Fulton Hall
Paris en Rêve brings you some of the most beautiful French classical music of the 19th and 20th centuries. With a variety of works by Camille Saint-Saens, Mélanie Bonis, Claude Debussy, and more, enjoy selections for solo piano, flute and violin sonatas, and three exquisite trios for this unique combination of instruments. Aviva Chertok is joined by flautist Kyle Dudley and pianist Daniel Szefer for this Tea Time Concert Series afternoon at the University of Chicago's beautiful Fulton Hall.

Join violinists Aviva Chertok and Dr. William Herzog for a unique duo concert featuring instruments from the Violins of Hope - a world-famous collection of restored string instruments that were played by Jewish musicians before and during the Holocaust. Bringing to life the music of those who passed, who survived, and who thrived, this inspiring concert organized by Aviva in partnership with JCC Chicago will feature music by classical Jewish composers like Ligeti, Jonathan Leshnoff and Chicago-native Stacey Garrop. Come celebrate the vitality of the Jewish spirit on the Violins of Hope.

Experience the beauty of classical music and the power of storytelling at this theatrical concert of Jewish music. Written and directed by violinist Aviva Chertok, "Meet Me in a Moment" opens the door to the lives of four great Jewish composers, with each musical selection followed by a scene from the composer's life. Step back in time to the living room of Ernest Bloch, join a rehearsal with Paul Ben-Haim, and attend a meeting of the Society of Jewish Folk Music in St. Petersburg with Lazare Saminsky. The program also features a special screening of an interview with modern-day GRAMMY-nominated composer, Jonathan Leshnoff.

08.09.22 Holocaust Remembrance/Worldwide Daffodil Project
The Jewish United Fund's RJD division and Holocaust Community Services present a special Holocaust remembrance event, with daffodil bulb planting in conjunction with the Worldwide Daffodil Project. Includes blessing the memorial garden, hearing from a survivor, and crafts for kids. Musical accompaniment for the event will be provided by Aviva Chertok and Liel Amdour. Come join in this meaningful and engaging moment of respect and remembrance.

"Meet Me in a Moment," is generously funded by the Genesis Philanthropy group.
