The Picardy Collective features violinist Aviva Chertok, violist Nicholas R. Mowry, and pianist Monika Miodragovic. Come to the Northbrook Library to enjoy a wonderful afternoon of music from the 19th and 20th centuries,  with works by Tchaikovsky, Bohuslav Martinu, and Robert Fuchs.

Violinist Aviva Chertok returns to SelfHelp Home with the Picardy Collective, featuring violist Nicholas R. Mowry, and pianist Monika Miodragovic. SelfHelp is a unique retirement community that hosts almost 100 live classical concerts a year. Residents will enjoy a wonderful afternoon of music from the 19th and 20th centuries.

Aviva Chertok joins Candian pianist Shirley Wu in Montreal for their second series of concerts of Romantic music, including selections of Mozart, Tchaikovsky, Wieniawski, Saminsky, and more. ​The program centers around the idea of memories, souvenirs of the places, people, and things we hold dear.

The Picardy Collective performed an afternoon of beautiful chamber music by composers Tchaikovsky, Martinu, and Robert Fuchs. Over 120 audience members enjoyed their musical afternoon at the Arlington Heights Memorial Library.

11.10.19 Picardy Collective Debuts at Groupmuse

Aviva Chertok plays in the SVSO's final 2018-19 concert, "The Old Masters." Featuring three seminal symphonies by Haydn, Mozart, and C.P.E. Bach.

06.30.19 Skokie Valley Symphony Orchestra

Shostakovich's Symphony No. 8 in C minor was composed shortly after the German's defeated at Stalingrad. Aviva Chertok performs in the Accompanietta ensemble, conducted by Northwestern University doctoral candidate Taichi Fukumura.

Aviva Chertok plays in the SVSO's third concert of the season, with music by: Artur Honegger, Paule Maurice, Puccini, and Fauré.  Featuring saxophone soloist Matthew Dardick, winner of the 2018 Bonnie and Lee Malmed Young Artists Competition.

Pianist and musicologist Dr. Jascha Nemtsov presents two concerts of Jewish art music at the University of Michigan. Aviva Chertok, alumna of U of M, performs with Dr. Nemtsov and baritone Greg Gropper on three Yiddish songs by Janot Roskin,

Aviva Chertok, performs her first concert in the SVSO. The orchestra's 2018-19 season kicks off with a gorgeous program of Russian music, featuring soloist Masha Lakisova, winner of the Bonnie and Lee Malmed Young Artist Competition.
